How do I know if my patient is using their medical device correctly?

If you notice an out of range reading for a patient, it could be due to improper usage of their medical device. This out-of-range reading likely would have generated an alert that notified you via text or email. We recommend reaching out to the patient to verify the patient was using the device correctly. Efforts to reach out are billable time and should be recorded in the Kura Care platform.

Our remote care team follows up with patients' out-of-range readings to learn more about the context of the measurement. For example, is the patient experiencing any symptoms, did a family member use the device to take a measurement, was the device not functioning correctly. This follow up is crucial to ensuring high quality data is flowing from the patient to their care team.
