Kura Care launched as an AI solutions provider for remote patient monitoring company to bring more personalized and outcomes-focused solutions to the health care market.
This was a key objective of our founder, KJ Yang, who endured his own difficult health care journey overcoming leukemia.
Founded in 2018 with offices in San Diego, CA, and Taiwan
After better understanding the challenges facing hospitals and clinics, such as care plan adherence, medication compliance, technology familiarity and ultimately improved outcomes, Kura Care has evolved toward providing customized patient engagement solutions to hospitals, clinics, remote monitoring and chronic care management companies.
Our software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology solutions are designed to improve outcomes for key chronic diseases and can easily integrate into existing remote care monitoring platforms. At the same time, Kura Care is leveraging artificial intelligence to provide actionable insights and early intervention guidance to help care providers and patients better leverage remote monitoring technology and ultimately improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Paul J. Mills is Professor of Family Medicine and Public Health and Director of the Center of Excellence for Research and Training in Integrative Health at the Universtiy of San Diego in La Jolla, CA. He is also an enthusiastic advocate of holistic care for congestive heart failure (CHF) patients. This severe chronic heart disease impacts more than 6M families in the US and 64M worldwide. For over three decades he’s received numerous grants from NIH/NHLBI, including about improving CHF patients' outcomes by enhancing therapy adherence and mental stability.

Award-winning commercial leader with extensive history of revenue growth. Built disruptive technology investment pipeline for Qualcomm, launched Qualcomm’s health care subsidiary, led diagnostics company through H1N1 flu pandemic, developed Cardinal Health’s patient safety strategy, and created “Value of Medication Safety” report with First Consulting Group. Completed 2 IPOs and 8 acquisitions for $3.75 billion and drove 33 consulting engagements with leading health care and technology companies.
